It has been a while since I have posted, written a newsletter or had a radio show. My dearest mom was ill and passed away a couple weeks ago. This is a time to go inward. Rumi is one of my favorite writers and this quote came across my desk the other day…
“There is a candle in your heart, ready to be kindled. There is a void in your soul, ready to be filled. You feel it, don’t you? (Rumi)
My contemplation on this quote has led me to share these thoughts…
Do you feel the energy shifts? Something is unfolding, calling us to rekindle our hearts. The candle within us has always been there but we have allowed it to dim. It is time to clear the way for that candle to burn brighter. This void in our soul is believed to be there because we have allowed trivial struggles and frustrations to prevent us from seeing who we are and feeling the Light within ourselves and others. But there has never actually been a void. We have just believed in the void.
It is time to re-create our lives. It is time for Passion, Purpose and Playfulness. Are you ready? Spend some time today in contemplation of how you can re-kindle the Light within you.

It is November and here on the U.S. east coast it is cool and the leaves are falling to make way for the winter. The fall has always been a time of change in my life. This season is already bringing new spiritual awakenings and healing as I move forward, ready for the next step. Is it a time of contemplation and change for you as well?
Significant Symbol:
Are you familiar with the Fibonacci spiral (also called the golden spiral)? I would suggest looking into this powerful symbol! The Fibonacci spiral can often be observed in nature, for example: The petals of iris and buttercup flowers. Other examples include pine cone and leaf arrangements, as well as in broccoli and cauliflower. Sea shells also illustrate the perfect geometry of the natural world. We can celebrate the beauty in these spirals that show us the wonder of the creative life energy.
Affirmation:
I open my heart and mind to the spirals of life within and around me. I connect with the beauty of nature and the beauty of life in everyone and everything.
Coaching Tip:
During times of change in our lives, the most important process we can use is grounding our energy. Observing and being out in nature, even as simple as sitting out on your deck can support grounding. Grounding your energy allows you to move through the changes and challenges going on around and within you.
The symbol of the Fibonacci spiral connects us with nature. Take a few moments to relax and breathe. Concentrate on the symbol of the Fibonacci spiral. What elements in nature come to you as you focus? Now take a few moments to feel your heart energy. Is there a message for you? Is nature bringing clarity and understanding to a situation in your life right now? You may also begin to be more observant as this symbol will show up in different ways in your life. The Universe speaks to us through symbols, through nature and through experiences brought to us. This allows us to become more aware of answers that contribute to our learning and evolution.
